Posted July 4, 2021. It sounds like you have a very, unfortunate but common problem. There are numerous issues caused by the Mk2/2.5 instrument cluster all derived from a tree hugger ethos. Ford changed the formula on the solder on these to not include 'lead' which has been used for generations without issue.
