The timing belt is specced for replacement at 75K miles now on Audi cars but I dont believe the timing chain is specced for replacement until far far after that. Anyone know the interval on it? The Dealership said at 75k it has to be checked and possibly adjusted, not replaced.

Thanks. I got mine changed for a 1.6 TDi after 6 years on 24k miles. paid £450 for a full timing belt kit change including water pump, tensionsers , alternator belt and oil and filter change.
