If you have gotten used to the QoL of modern Total War games, then 1212 is probably the better move. If you’re attached to the QOL and graphics of the newest, I would go with 1212 AD. If you don’t mind a massive decrease in both, then Medieval II has a much higher replay ability and way more modding options.
